Description
Week 5: Reviewing ResultsThis week, you will analyze the data from your trash collection (week 3) and your group’s collection (wk 4 Group Discussion) into the provided worksheet. The provided video will help you make a bar graph to provide a visual representation for your lab report (using a graphing website). You will also think through the scenario about landfill lifespans and environmental impact with the provided word problem. Finally, you will practice interpreting sample graphs to see if the data supports or falsifies the hypothesis. This will give you the tools you need to interpret your results for the conclusion section of the progressive project lab report for week 7. This worksheet will walk you through it step by step.Link to the Video on How to Use Math is Fun to make a Bar Graph

Part 3: Data Analysis
What was your week one hypothesis? _____________________
Does the data support or falsify your week 1 hypothesis? Explain why or why not?
Environmental Impact
If you and your group were to collect your trash for a year (365 days). How much trash would that be?
Total trash: ______________ x 365 days = _____________ for one year
How much of your classes trash is being kept out of the landfill by being recycled?
Total recycling ______________ x 365 days = ______________ for one year.
