1. In your own words, explain what response efficacy and self-efficacy are.

2. Imagine that you see a public health ad in a magazine that encourages people to use condoms to reduce the risk of AIDS. What are some beliefs or actions in this situation that would relate to response efficacy? What are some beliefs or actions that would relate to self-efficacy?
